Who knew life would be so much fun as you got older? At 36, one would normally know what direction they were going in life, right? Not this one! I embarked on a new career this summer and I'm already wondering what on earth I was thinking!

I have a supervisor (my broker) that likes to tell you to do something and then doesn't "remember" she did it. So guess who gets into trouble? Yep, you guessed it. So I'm going to start logging everything that happens. It's the only way I feel like I have some control over what is happening with me. I truly don't believe she's that way on purpose! I just think she gets too busy, gets herself in a tight spot and has to blame someone. I'm just ready for it to be someone other than myself. *laughing*

My significant other is leaving for Memphis today. He'll only be gone one day and then he will leave next week for Japan. He will stay there for 3 weeks. I get so jealous sometimes that he gets to travel but I know my time is coming. One day I will get to explore the world.

I tell my 15 year old that life is too important to throw it away. If she wants to explore the world, do it while she can because sometimes life does get in the way and she will have to put off her dreams for various reasons. (I never say throw away your dreams because I don't believe in it. I do admit that sometimes you have to put them on a shelf sometimes.) Live life while you can, enjoy your freedom while you can, smile and take time for yourself... It's all important!

So I guess my theme today is "Life is not Simple". Yet we all have the ability to step back from it, smile and realize that another day will dawn.
